Our alumina ball is made of α alumina (α aluminium oxide, the most thermodynamically stable form) by cool isostatic pressing and fired at a very high temperature in the tunnel kiln. Alumina balls are lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel balls and can withstand high temperatures up to 1750°C. The ceramic ball is the most widely used catalyst and adsorbent bed support media in refining, petrochemical, and gas processing applications, with unmatched impact resistance, thermal shock, crush strength and survivability. In hydroprocessing, the operational condiions are very demanding, both in temperature and pressure. Our ceramic ball is designed to withstand these conditions and provide optimal performance in all hydroprocessing conditions. Our alumina ball product series include alumina grinding ball for ball mill grinding media, and ceramic balls for the grinding of organic and inorganic pigments, ceramic inks and activated alumina ball. The Al2O3 content vary from 17% to 99%. |
