Plastic Cascade Mini Ring is a type of random tower packing suitable for use in absorption, stripping and environmental applications. We base our design on the Koch-Glitsch Cascade Mini Ring (CMR) — a versatile product first introduced in 1971 and still commonly used today. Multiple sizes and material options expand the potential applications, making them suitable for use in high-temperature or high-capacity environments. Mini Rings are small cylinders with a series of internal braces. it features a low aspect ratio, where the cylinder’s diameter is approximately three times the height. This low profile ensures a more even flow and better gas and liquid contact. Also, the smaller design offers excellent structural integrity, reducing the risk of deformation in high-capacity towers. When installed in a tower, the Mini Rings naturally orient themselves evenly, maximizing contact between the rings’ inner and outer surfaces and improving overall packing efficiency. |
